Country Style – Lounging around

A warm welcome and thank you for visiting the British Country Homes Blog
I have a passion for country homes and I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy producing it!
Ever since I was young I was fascinated with older country houses. Whether it was a large stately home or a smaller medieval cottage I was always drawn to find out more. I have been lucky enough to have found myself in a career which allows me to indulge my passion. From Georgian Manor Houses to 17th Century Cottages, Victorian Residences to Jacobean Mansions I have inspected, appraised, valued and sold them all.
In addition to working with beautiful rural property I also write about it. You can find out more about my stories, columns and blogs by going to the “About” page here.
My latest blog is below, or you can see more on the sliding carousel beneath….

Normally when I attend a dinner party or other social event I am asked “How is the market?” My wife sighs as she knows I’ve just been given the green light to wax lyrical about the market and how it’s not as simple as putting properties onto an online portal…
